Our policies are designed to ensure a smooth, respectful, and professional experience for every client. Please take a moment to review them before your visit.
Booking Policy
All appointments at OKKO Studio must be booked exclusively through our online booking system. This ensures accurate time allocation, automatic confirmations, reminders, and secure payment processing.
Please note:
• Online booking is available 24/7.
• Appointment confirmations are sent automatically via email or SMS.
• If your preferred time is unavailable, we recommend checking back later — our schedule updates regularly.
• New clients are required to review the relevant service page prior to booking.
Payment Policy
Accepted payment methods:
• Payment after service: cash or e-transfer.
• Prepayment (deposit): via Square, including Apple Pay / Google Pay (where available).
Deposit Requirement (Mandatory):
A $25 CAD deposit is required to secure any appointment. The deposit will be applied to your final bill on the day of your service.
Purpose of the Deposit:
• The deposit is collected to ensure client responsibility and to secure the artist’s time.
• It covers lost time in the event of late cancellations, no-shows, or excessive tardiness.
Deposit Application:
• The deposit is automatically deducted from the total amount due after the service.
Deposit Forfeiture (Non-Refundable Situations):
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment.
• No-show (failure to attend without notice).
• Late arrival exceeding 10 minutes, making the service impossible.
Refund Eligibility:
• Refunds may be issued only in the case of documented medical or emergency situations.
• Medical documentation will be reviewed within 5 business days.
• The studio reserves the right to approve any refund or transfer at its discretion in line with fairness policies.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We respect our clients’ time and allocate individual appointment blocks. Please notify us in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Standard Rules:
• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
• Rescheduling more than once may require a new deposit.
Late Cancellation (less than 24 hours):
• Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations.
• A new deposit will be required for any subsequent appointment.
No-Show Policy:
• Deposits are fully retained in the event of no-shows.
• The studio reserves the right to refuse future appointments for clients with repeated no-shows.
Client Etiquette & Studio Expectations
Punctuality
Please arrive on time. Arrivals exceeding 10 minutes may result in shortened or rescheduled appointments with deposit forfeiture.
Clean Face
For brow and lash services, please arrive without makeup, creams, or mascara — this ensures accuracy, hygiene, and optimal results.
No Guests
For safety and concentration, children or additional guests are not permitted during treatments.
Phone Use
Mobile phones should be silenced. Phone calls during service are not permitted.
Respectful Behavior
Aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service.
Lash Fill & Policy on Work Done by Another Artist
At OKKO STUDIO, the health of natural lashes, eye safety, and long-term results are our top operational priorities.
Please note that we do not guarantee fill services on eyelash extensions applied by another artist. Due to significant variability in industry training standards, techniques, products, and materials, a fill may not be possible or safe.
Mandatory Assessment
If you arrive with extensions done elsewhere, your lashes will be assessed at the beginning of the appointment. Based on this assessment, one of the following outcomes will apply.
- A fill may proceed only if the exiting work meets our technical, hygienic, and structural standards.
- If the existing work does not meet our standards, a full removal will be required , followed by a new full set at the full set price
Reasons a Fill May Be Refused
A fill will be declined and removal required if any of the following conditions are present:
- Excessive glue usage or visible adhesive buildup
- Poor isolation or multiple natural lashes bonded together
- Outgrown extensions compromising lash health
- Incompatible curl, diameter, length, or styling structure
- Mixed brands, inconsistent fiber quality, or unknown materials
- Incompatible lash texture or finish compared to our professional system
- Signs of lash damage, stress, or breakage caused by previous application
- Hygiene or safety concerns related to prior work
Professional Standards & Materials
OKKO STUDIO works exclusively with Ruthie Belle adhesives and premium lashes from Lost Artistry, London Lash, and Curacora. To ensure consistency, retention, and safety, we do not layer or integrate unknown products into our lash system.
Client Agreement
By booking a lash fill with existing work from another artist, you acknowledge and agree that:
- A fill is not guaranteed
- Removal may be required at the standard removal price
- A new full set may be necessary to protect natural lashes and ensure quality results
This policy is non-negotiable and exists to protect both the client and the integrity of our work.
Health & Safety Policy
Sanitation & Sterilization
All tools and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each appointment. Disposable items are used whenever possible, and all reusable instruments are sterilized according to professional salon standards.
Allergies & Health Conditions
If you have sensitive skin, allergies, or medical conditions affecting your treatment, please inform us prior to booking. Patch tests can be arranged if necessary.
Right to Refuse Service
The studio may refuse service if a client presents visible infections, active skin conditions, or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, to ensure safety and a professional environment.
Media & Consent
We take before-and-after photos to document progress and improve service quality.
Consent for Marketing Use
Photos may be used in marketing only with your written consent. You may decline; your privacy will be fully respected.
Service Documentation
For certain procedures (e.g., permanent makeup), photos are also taken for client records and progress tracking.
By booking with us, you agree to our photo policy unless otherwise indicated in writing.
Refunds & Corrections Policy
Refunds
Due to the nature of beauty services, refunds for completed procedures are not provided.
Correction Appointments
If you experience minor issues or unexpected results, you may be eligible for a complimentary correction within 2 days of your appointment.
Client Responsibility
Proper aftercare is essential. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect results and void eligibility for corrections.
Rescheduling Corrections
Touch-ups or adjustments after the correction window are treated as new appointments and require a new deposit.
